Agricultural input

In Colombia, initiatives have been promoted for the formulation of organic fertilizers made from coca leaf and coca flour, such as the Cocalofa project, developed by SENA Cauca. This fertilizer has been tested as an agricultural input in rural Indigenous communities, such as those in Toribío, Cauca. This organic fertilizer has a low production cost, is environmentally friendly, and serves as an excellent alternative for diversifying the use of the plant in markets beyond drug trafficking.
